I have been lax lately about doing any blogging, sorry about that. Summer is in full swing and the family and I have been spending a lot of time out on the lake, in our new to us Deck Boat. Great times are being had and memories are being made. Our oldest daughter is away for the week at a summer camp so things are quiet in the house :)
Badlands server for Warhammer Online seems to becoming a bit more active lately. I have seen several returning players from both Order and Destruction, as well as what appears to be compeletly new players.
I recently hit RR88 on my magus, I know slow slow and finally started collecting tokens for my RR90 Scenario Weapon. Although scenario pops seem to be on the slow side this week. Not sure if that is because the RvR is more active, or Mythic changed something. Really strange and kind of a bummer as well.
The top Order team transferred servers not long ago, which is a good and bad thing. Sad part is to see good players (or any players) leave the server, be they foe or ally. The good part of it is that scenarios and RvR seems a bit more competetive than it was in the past. Although I noticed of few of the players are starting to pop back up on alts on either destro or order. Guess the grass isn't always greener...
A lot of news coming out from BioMythic this month, I am mostly looking forward to the changes, especially the hinted at Magus love and the introduction of Relics (covered by Werit).
Hopefully my guild will be able to field a 10-12 man this weekend and get some good times rolling. Summer time doesn't really allow for much Gaming time, although I wouldn't trade the memories being created for all the gaming time in the world.... but it should be nice to hit RR90 :)

To RvR or Scenario
As some of you may know my perferred class to play in Warhammer Online is the Magus. This class has had its ups and downs over the past couple of years. I am still playing it and still enjoy it.
The problem I am currently facing while playing is on how to spec. Respeccing in WAR can be expensive, especially if you have to do it ever day or so. I have recently started to enjoy doing Scenarios and working on finishing up my chase for weapons.
The problem with that is the Magus is really only useful in scenarios if they are single target spec. (especially if pugging) Usually heavy into Havoc and part way up Changing to grab IFoC. This seems to work fairly well as long as you are basically a glass cannon. 6/7 Piece Sov, RA all to the offensive, max crit/intel etc. But that spec is ONLY good for scenarios, in RvR it is basically worthless, you lose out on the class's one trick rift.
I guess I could go Havoc/Daemo and have a bit of both worlds.. Any thoughts from fellow Magi/Engineers.
